Ranch privacy policy
Ranch is a protected workspace for ranch operations. This page explains the current MVP privacy posture in plain language. It is intended for early customer confidence and should be reviewed by counsel before broader commercial rollout.
What Ranch stores
Ranch stores the account, team, ranch profile, animal, land/feed, inventory, task, role, activity, and support data needed to operate a protected ranch workspace.
Customer and ranch data ownership
Ranch records belong to the ranch customer or design partner that provided them. Users receive access because a ranch owner, admin, or onboarding operator invited or created the account.
Cookies and authentication
Ranch uses essential authentication cookies and session storage so signed-in users can access their ranch workspace. Optional advertising cookies are not part of the current product.
Demo and onboarding data
Demo and design-partner records may be created manually from customer-provided sheets, photos, exports, or notes. Ranch should not be used for regulated medical, financial, or legal records.
Retention
Ranch keeps customer workspace data while the ranch is active, while support or onboarding work is ongoing, or while retention is needed for security, audit, backup, or legal reasons. Deletion requests are handled through the data rights process.
Service providers
Ranch may use infrastructure, authentication, hosting, database, email, billing, storage, or AI/API service providers to operate the product. Providers should be used only for product operation, support, security, and requested processing.
AI capture and Ranch Inbox
Planned Ranch Inbox workflows may store original source content such as voice notes, transcripts, whiteboard photos, receipts, uploaded documents, extracted text, and proposed structured actions for review and audit. Approved actions become ranch records. Rejected inputs should be deletable or retained only as needed for agreed audit, security, backup, or support reasons.
Data rights and support
For access, correction, deletion, export, account closure, privacy, or demo questions, contact the person who provided your Ranch login or email support@hatchie.studio.
